The author considers the problem of efficient sequential estimation of a given function of multinomial distribution parameters for a multinomial process. The condition for the closedness of oblique plans is found (see also a paper by R. A. Zaĭdman et al. [The Soviet-Japanese Symposium on Probability Theory, Part I (Russian), (Novosibirsk, 1969), pp. 122–143, Akad. Nauk SSSR Sibirsk. Otdel., Novosibirsk, 1969; RZhMat 1970:6 V168]), and the class of efficiently estimable functions in these planes is investigated
